The BG2 is a hardware compressor from Highland Dynamics, used to control the dynamic range of a signal so the loudest moments sit closer to the quietest. Engineers reach for an outboard compressor on vocals, bass and drums while tracking, or on individual parts at mix time. It suits studios that would rather commit to hardware dynamics control than leave every decision to plug-ins.

We dispatch within 1-2 business days; UPS transit is usually 3-7 business days (a carrier estimate), so allow 4-9 business days in total. Orders placed after the daily cut-off, at a weekend or on a holiday begin handling the next business day. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or to APO, FPO or DPO addresses.
Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Email us for an RMA number first, then send the item back on the prepaid UPS label in your package. Change-of-mind returns are free, with no restocking fee, and must come back new, unused and in the original packaging. Items that arrive defective, damaged or not as described can come back as they are. Approved refunds are issued within 5-10 business days of inspection.
