This is the Mastering Version of Manley's SLAM!, a compressor and limiter intended for finished program material rather than individual tracks. A tracking unit is usually asked to tame one source at a time, while a mastering variant sits across a whole mix, where subtle adjustments matter more than dramatic ones. It is aimed at mastering engineers, and at mix engineers who finish their own records in hardware.
