The elysia xmax rack is the rack version of the xmax from elysia, listed here among compressors and limiters. Gear in this category is used to control the dynamics of a signal, holding peaks in check and keeping levels steadier during recording and mixing. A qube version of the xmax is offered separately, so this listing is the one to choose when the unit is going into a rack with other studio equipment.
