The Sonor Prolite is a German-made maple snare drum in a 14 x 5 in size with a Creme White finish. The shell is a thin 4 mm maple shell with 2 mm reinforcement rings, fitted with TuneSafe lugs and tension rods, 2.3 mm flanged hoops, a Dual Glide strainer and Sonor snare wires. It suits drummers looking for a maple main snare, and works equally well as a second snare alongside a different main drum.
