Canopus builds this 14x5.5 snare from white ash, a timber valued for its strength-to-weight ratio and a dry, resilient character. The voice sits low and full, with a short decay and a clear cut, while the Parallel Peacock Oil finish and brass hardware set it apart visually. This drum was on display at the 2024 NAMM Show, so it carries minor finish marks and light scuffs, though the shell has no structural issues and every part works.
